During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Team USA brought home the Gold with the help of three of Nike Basketball’s signature athletes: LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker. To celebrate the achievement, Nike Basketball will debut the “Immortalized” collection in August 2025. Multiple signature shoes that were worn during the tournament will be available at retailers.
The collection, so far, includes the Nike Book 1 in two colorways, the Nike KD 18, and two colorways of the Nike LeBron 22. It’s rumored that the “Gold Medal” KD 4 will also be part of the collection. Each shoe was worn on the court during the Olympic Games in 2024 (besides the KD 4). In the past, we have seen the Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver with Blue LeBron 22, and Devin Booker wore a patriotic Book 1.
Kevin Durant wore a special iteration of his “USA” KD 17. However, the list of upcoming drops appears to be the KD 18.
Furthermore, each pair features Electric Safari print, a theme that was present across multiple models to celebrate the 2024 Olympic Games.
