The years ’95 and ’97 come to mind when thinking of Air Max’s, how ever in between those two years the Air Max 96 was released. Often becoming unnoticed, the Nike Air Max 96 was originally released in two color-ways for Men, Purple and Scream Green and two color-ways for Women, Teal and Royal Blue.

Today, the originals are hard to come by, but the Retro versions are adapting to the current colors and styles. The Nike Air Max 96 has been seen featuring the Air Max 180 sole, a style used in the “One Time Only” package and on a few other models.
