Nike Air Max Plus VII “Varsity Maize” Returns Fall 2025

The Nike Air Max Plus VII “Varsity Maize” will return during the Summer of 2025. Originally released in 2005, the shoes will celebrate its 20th Anniversary. The retail price is $185.

As Nike Sportswear continues to dig into the vault for classic Air Max pairs to retro, another pair is arriving at retailers, the Air Max Plus VII. This pair was originally released in 2005, and in 2025, the model celebrates its 20th Anniversary. One of the first pairs to be released is the “Varsity Maize” pair, an original colorway.

This Nike Air Max Plus VII features a Varsity Maize, White, Black, and Metallic Silver color scheme. The overall build resembles the Air Max Plus. However, we do have some differences. The AM Plus VII features a circular pattern on the upper, with select areas resembling dripping. The Swoosh is closer to the top two eyelets, while the midsole has been slightly modified.

As for the “Varsity Maize” iteration, it features Yellow across the base with Metallic Silver on the base that gradients to Black. White graces the midsole and Swoosh logos. Other details include Black laces, on the mid-foot shank plate, and the rubber outsole.
