The Nike Air Max Plus “Dark Obsidian” will be released on June 13, 2025. It is not your typical Air Max Plus; the shoes feature a grid pattern on the upper. The retail price is $180.

Nike Sportswear is giving the Air Max Plus a retro makeover. The model was initially released in the 1990s. However, the brand will take us further back, with a grid pattern on the upper resembling video games from the 1980s.

This Nike Air Max Plus is dressed in a Dark Obsidian, Blue Chill, White, and Black color combination. Instead of having a gradient upper, the shoes feature a grid pattern in shades of Blue throughout, resembling Tron or video games from the 1980s. In addition, we have Blue Chill on the Swoosh logos, tongue branding, and mid-foot shank plate. Next, the TPU overlays have a White to Black gradient. Black also appears on the nubuck mudguard, top of the tongue, and liner. Other details include a White midsole, Blue Chill within the Air Max unit, and a Black rubber outsole.
