In 1998, designer Sean McDowell introduced the Air Max Plus, a unique model with a TPU overlay and was inspired by a vacation in Florida where the palm trees would sway in the breeze. It has been 25 years since the shoes first launched, and we have a unique pair dropping in 2023 to celebrate. Officially dubbed “25th Anniversary,” the pair combines several classics and features subtle graphics.
Highlighted in Blue and Pink mesh across the base. This Nike Air Max Plus has a subtle graphic of palm trees on the base, a nod to its inspiration. The lateral side has Blue gradients representing the “Hyper Royal” pair. As for the medial side, it features a Purple to Red gradient, similar to the “Voltage Purple” rendition. Yellow fills in the Air Max unit, while Black is on the midsole and mainly on the rubber outsole to finish the look.
