The Nike Air Max 97 ‘Nintendo 64’ goes down memory lane of another gaming console which borrows the colors from the system.
As you can see this Nike Air Max 97 features Light Grey across the mesh upper while the same shade is applied to the leather overlays which is a tribute to the controller. In addition we have accents of Green, Blue, Yellow and Red which is for the buttons.
If you look closer you will notice triangles throughout the mudguard which represents the Yellow buttons. Following we have ‘Power’ and ‘Reset’ text on the tongue and ‘Air Max’ written in Nintendo font on the heel. Other details includes a graphic on the insole which resembles the ESRB rating which is seen on the packaging of video games.
