Nike Sportswear is releasing a four-pack of sneakers, featuring the Air Max 95, which honors Black Colleges and Universities, also known as HBCUs. Known as the Air Max 95 “Yardrunners” Collection, all four pairs will debut during the Holiday 2025 season.
As mentioned, the four Nike Air Max 95 color options will pay homage to different HBCUs, including Morehouse College, Spelman College, Florida A&M University, and Norfolk State University. Not only do each pair feature unique detailing and materials, but they are dressed in colors associated with the schools. Furthermore, the four will have the founding year on the tongue and branding on the heel in the Air Max text.
Additionally, the pairs will have textures that connect to the school’s history, and the logo placed on the tongues. As well, it features quotes on the medial side associated with the college. Other details include 3M reflective accents, a staple to the Air Max 95, and a Black rubber outsole.
