The Air Max 90 is the second silhouette from the Air Max line when it comes to being part of the main series, and was originally released in 1990. Designed by nonother than Tinker Hatfield, a follow-up to the first pair, the Air Max 1. Ever since its initial debut, the shoes have launched in multiple colors, and even to this day, you can walk into any Nike retailer and see a few pairs on shelves. The latest pair to showcase is part of the ‘Icons’ collection and pays tribute to the ‘Silver Bullet’ OG Air Max 97.
This Nike Air Max 90 comes dressed in a Metallic Silver, Photon Dust, University Red, Black, and White color combination. Constructed with the usual leather and mesh build. Breaking down this pair, the shoes come with Photo Dust on the base, Metallic Silver on the mudguards, Next, Red suede fills in the Swoosh logos on the panels and the branding on the tongues and insoles. Highlighting this pair, we have ‘Icons’ branding on the insoles. Other details include White on the midsoles, and both Black and Red run across the rubber outsole.
