Nike Sportswear will celebrate the annual Puerto Rico Day parade that takes place in June. The event takes place along Fifth Avenue in the Manhattan borough in New York City. For the celebration, the brand will release two colorways of the Air Max 1.
Those two color options come in your choice of ‘Blue Gale’ and ‘Orange Frost.’ Both pairs are inspired by Puerto Rican frozen treats (helados), known as ‘piraguas’ that are available in flavors like coco (coconut), parcha (passion fruit), and piña (pineapple).
The two Nike Air Max 1 colorways come constructed with a mixture of leather, textile, and suede. Utilizing Jewel Swoosh logos, ‘Puerto Rico’ on the lace dubraes, a snow cone-like figure on the tongue labels, and ‘Puerto Rico’ embroidered on the right heels. Each pair comes with special packaging that displays the different flavors and also comes with a towel.
Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico 2023 Release Details
You can expect the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Puerto Rico’ Pack to release at select retailers and Nike.com on June 6th. The retail price is $140 each. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you. For now, scroll below for more photos that will give you a closer look.
