Nike Sportswear will help celebrate King’s Day, also known as Koningsdag, on April 27th in the Netherlands. This national holiday celebrates the birthday of the monarch. On the day, many wear Orange, also known as “Orange Madness,” or in Dutch, Oranjegekte. The brand will debut the Air Max 1 “King’s Day,” which was initially expected to launch in 2024, but will debut in 2025.
This Nike Air Max 1 is dressed in a Cacao Wow, Bright Mandarin, and Amber Brown color scheme. Constructed with premium materials, consisting of mesh, leather, and nubuck. Shades of Brown appear on the overlays with a Light Orange on the mesh toe box, tongue, and ankle. Next, a bright shade of Orange appears on the Swoosh logos, Nike branding on the tongues, laces, and heel branding. For a premium feel, the shoes have leather on the liners and have velcro tongue patches. The tongue and heels come with a unique design. Other details include a Brown midsole and shades of Orange on the rubber outsole.
Furthermore, each pair comes with a tote bag with Nike Air Max branding, and two sets of laces in Brown and Orange.
