Thanks to the residents of Baltimore, Nike Sportswear’s ‘Color of the Month’ still continues today. In 1984, stores in Baltimore requested unique colors of the Air Force 1 due to the popularity in the area. If it wasn’t for the city, it’s possible that the Air Force 1 could have faded away. But, the model pushed on with multiple releases in the 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and today. With the resurgence of the Color of the Month series, we have a look at the upcoming Royal Jewel Swoosh rendition.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low comes dressed in a White and Hyper Royal color combination. Constructed with leather throughout and mesh on the tongues. White adorns the base with Royal Blue within the Jewel Swooshes on the panels. The same shade of Blue appears on the tongue and heel branding, insoles, and semi-translucent outsole. Other details include White branding on the insoles, laces, and midsole, and each pair comes with a toothbrush.
