Nike Sportswear is getting a head start on the Valentine’s Day releases by dropping multiple colorways of the Air Force 1 for the Holiday. This low-top iteration is covered in University Red and features the same theme as the other pairs. Instead of relying on loud graphics or overly bold palettes, this colorway leans into textured details and hearts throughout that align perfectly with the holiday theme.
The overall theme of this Nike Air Force 1 Low will mimic the “Pink Foam” and “Triple Black” iterations. Highlighted in University Red throughout, the upper uses a woven-like material with embroidered hearts. The hearts don’t just land on the base, but appear on the Swoosh, tongue, eyestays, and heel. Additionally, Nike Air is embroidered on the heels, while Cupid lands on the insoles. Like the others, it comes with a Chrome heart locket attached to the laces that can be removed. Again, this isn’t a pair for me, but I can see why most people like them. I will say that the University Red pair is my second favorite of the three, and I do think the repeated hearts look nice. Also, like the others, the “University Red” pair appears to be made of nice materials.
