Thanks to the residents of Baltimore, Nike Sportswear’s ‘Color of the Month’ still continues today. In 1984, stores in Baltimore requested unique colors of the Air Force 1 due to the popularity in the area. If it wasn’t for the city, it’s possible that the Air Force 1 could have faded away. But, the model pushed on with multiple releases in the 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and today. With the resurgence of the Color of the Month series, we have a look at a pair that features a Red Jewel Swoosh.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low comes dressed in a clean White and University Red color combination. Constructed with leather throughout and nylon tongues. Utilizing White on the base, with Red used on the Jewel Swoosh logos on the panels. More Red also lands on the tongue and heel branding, insoles, and across the semi-translucent outsole. Other details include White on the laces, branded insoles, and midsole, and each pair comes with a special toothbrush.
