Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pearl” Returns November 2025

As Nike Sportswear continues to show love for the Foamposite line, the brand will start dropping more color options of the Foamposite Pro. The model, initially released in 1997 and linked to Tim Duncan, Ray Allen, and other athletes, has a long-standing history. One of the beloved pairs is the “Pearl” Nike Air Foamposite Pro, and for Holiday 2025, we can confirm that the shoes will return to retailers.

The “Pearl” Foamposite Pro was originally released in 1997 as a general release and launched after the Foamposite One. Worn by Tim Duncan, there is also a PE version of the “Pearl” for Scottie Pippen. Many may remember this pair from the film “He Got Game” by Spike Lee. Starring Denzel Washington as Jake Shuttlesworth and Ray Allen as Jesus Shuttlesworth. Allen wore the “Pearl” Foamposite Pro throughout the movie.

We would see the first retro release of the shoes in 2002. Following, the pair released again in 2009 as a House of Hoops exclusive. Only a year later, in 2010, the Pearl would drop again, available at more retailers. The last time we saw a release was in 2015, part of the “Class of ’97” Pack. Along with this classic Foamposite Pro, the shoes were packaged with the Zoom Hawk Flight. The pack paid homage to the movie “He Got Game,” as Ray Allen wore both pairs in the film.

This classic Nike Air Foamposite Pro comes dressed in a White, Black, and True Red color scheme. Highlighted with a Pearl Foamposite shell on the upper, while Black appears on the Swoosh logos, nubuck eyestays, tongues, heels, and carbon fiber shank plate. Red outlines the Swoosh on the heel, tongue pull tabs, and the pods on the translucent outsole.

Update (7/9/25): Nike has unveiled a first look at the “Pearl” Air Foamposite Pro via the SNKRS live. A release will occur on November 28th, 2025, for $240. The shoes will feature a larger Swoosh to commemorate the original 1997 release.
