So far, the color options returning have been a mix of original and retro, and to build on that, we have a classic pair returning in 2026. For the Holiday season, the “Dr. Doom” Foamposite Pro will return. This marks the third time the shoes have been released and celebrates the 20th Anniversary.
Although this Foamposite Pro isn’t an original colorway, it’s an older one that was launched in 2006. Part of the “Fantastic Four” pack, which not only included this Foamposite Pro, but the Air Force 1 Low “Invisible Woman,” Air Max 90 Mr. Fantastic,” Air Max 95 “Invisible Torch,” and the Dunk High “Thing.” To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the release, the “Dr Doom” Foamposite Pro was re-released in 2016.
For the 2026 Nike Air Foamposite Pro release, the overall look will resemble the past drops. It will come dressed in a clean Black and White colorway, with Black across the Foamposite shell. The same shade appears on the leather eyestays, mesh tongue, and the carbon fiber shank plate. White covers the Swoosh, liner, branding, and most of the rubber outsole.
The only difference with the 2026 release and the prior drops is that the 2026 will have a larger Swosh, and the overall shape will reflect the original mold.
