2013 was a year dominated by Penny Hardaway’s Foamposite silhouette, and thanks to that success it looks like other retro Penny sneaker will grace the scene this year. Case in point, the Nike Air Up. Slightly different than its OG counterpart that was released back in the 90s, the Nike Air Up 14 Penny will feature the same colorway of Black, White, and Royal Orlando Blue with the Air Up logo on the Tongue.

I don’t think they are worried about the cost. Nike is more focused on using the new technology and new materials on their shoes. Sometimes it works out but other times they just need to stick with the original look. Cuts down on the weight as well and more form fitting around the foot. I just hope they don’t throw fuse on every damn shoe.
