The Entire Nike 2017 Doernbecher Collection

The Nike 2017 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection has been unveiled an will release during November.

Six kids designed six shoes which includes: Brody Miller – Nike Air More Uptempo, Carissa Navarro – Air Jordan 12, Andrew Merydith – Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit, Tylan Hibbard – Nike SB Stefan Janoski, Amyiah Robinson – Nike Air Max Thea Flyknit and Brayden Sparkman – Nike Air Huarache Run Ultra.

Nike 2017 Doernbecher Collection Release Date

The entire Nike 2017 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection is set to release on November 18th in adult and youth sizes with matching apparel. The collection will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers including online at Nike.com. Proceeds from the sales will benefit OHSU Doernbecher.

His shoes features vibrant shades of green and purple that coordinate perfectly with his favorite BMX jersey.

Nike Air More Uptempo Doernbecher

Miller’s rare brain condition is a villain he battles every day. To help him in the fight, the aspiring comic book artist created Generator Man, an alter ego who shoots healing energy out of his hands.

Carissa Navarro

Age: 9
From: Springfield, Oregon
Diagnosis: Bilateral renal agenesis, end stage kidney disease – born without kidneys

Air Jordan 12 Doernbecher

Her twin sister’s name, Savannah, is on the heel tab of the left shoe (Navarro was born without kidneys and her sister kept her alive in the womb until she could begin dialysis). “She’s the best sister ever!” she says.

Amyiah Robinson

Age: 11
From: Portland, Oregon
Diagnosis: Sickle cell anemia, indeterminate colitis

Nike Air Max Thea Ultra Flyknit Doernbecher

Robinson’s colorful design includes a state map of Oklahoma, where she’s from, on the insole of one shoe and a map of Oregon on the other to symbolize the importance of staying true to her roots.

Brayden Sparkman

Age: 13
From: Salem, Oregon
Diagnosis: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia

The prominent display of orange is a nod to Sparkman’s favorite baseball and football teams.
