Make-A-Wish and Jordan Brand came together to help Jordan Carranza, a 13-year old who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, design his very own Air Jordan.

The model he chose was the Air Jordan 1 FlyEase which features ease-of-entry- technology, designed by Tobie Hatfield. This pair features a White and Blue color combination while custom logos land on the tongue, heel, and outsole.

โ€˜What inspired me to make this shoe is that Nike has always been my favorite brand, and I have always wanted to make a shoe. The reason I made a handicap style is that it shows me that just because youโ€™re disabled doesnโ€™t mean that your dream canโ€™t come true,โ€™ said Carranza.

Jordan Carranzaโ€™s Air Jordan 1 FlyEase PE was exclusively designed for him and friends and family. Currently, there are no plans for a public release. Continue to scroll below for more images that will give you a closer look.
