Jordan Brand x Sole Collector have come together to pay tribute to Tinker Hatfield’s revolutionary usage of carbon fiber, which was first introduced to the Jordan line with the Air Jordan XI.
The Air Jordan CMFT Vis 11 is the sneaker used for this tribute and rightfully so. Blending two of Tinker’s most widely received sneakers the Air Max 1 and AJ11. When one thinks of the Jordan XI, patent leather is the first thing that comes to mind. Replacing the patent leather on the CMFT Viz 11 was something most Sneaker Heads didn’t approve of. However, replacing it with a synthetic carbon fiber seems to work well. An icy outsole is used as well as a reengineered ‘23’ heel tab logo now bearing ‘SC’ in the same font style.
