Jordan Tatum 2 Upcoming Colorways + Release Dates (Complete Guide)

Jayson Tatum officially signed with Jordan Brand in 2019, and shortly after, we heard rumors of his first signature shoe dropping. It wasn’t until 2023 that the JT1 would hit retailers. Although there are a few more color options, the Boston Celtics All-Star and JB will move on to his next signature shoe, the Jordan Tatum 2. The pair will arrive in 2024 in a wide range of color options.

Jayson Tatum said the following on the Jordan Tatum 2:

“For me, this second shoe represents evolution and how much I’ve grown as a player,” “I’m always building on my skills so I can be better than who I was yesterday. I hope consumers appreciate how much we put into this one.”

One of the first colorways of the Jordan Tatum 2 is dubbed “Mint Foam” and comes dressed in a Mint Foam, Lava Glow, Black, Hyper Jade, and Key Lime color combination. It is constructed with a mix of mesh, nubuck, and leather, which also looks similar to Tatum’s predecessor. The shoes come with JT’s logo on the tongues and a large Jumpman on the lateral side. You can also expect additional branding on the heels.

As for the technology, the Tatum 2 has a full-length Air Strobel unit that helps cushion impact from explosive movements. Furthermore, the shoes come with large foam and textile pods, a nod to ’90s basketball shoes. The foam frame surrounding the pods wraps high, helping stabilize the foot. Moving to the outsole, it features a herringbone traction pattern that reduces weight. The kids version of the Tatum 2 comes with a collapsible tailgate on the heel, allowing for kids to easily get in and out of the shoes.

You can expect the Jordan Tatum 2 in the “Momma’s Boy” colorway to be released at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com on February 18th, 2024. Arriving in full family sizes, the retail price for men’s is $125, grade school is $90, preschool is $75, and toddler sizes will cost $55.
