For 2023, Jordan Brand will introduce a few new hybrid shoes that will combine previous signature models into one. One of those is the Jordan Stadium 90. However, the brand will also launch the Jordan MVP, which pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s first three championships and his first three-peat.
The model combines elements from the Air Jordan 6, 7, and 8, which were worn by Michael Jordan during his first three-peat from 1991-1993. He would capture those championships against the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Phoenix Suns.
While you can expect multiple colorways of the Jordan MVP to release this year, one of the first we have a preview of comes dressed in a color blocking resembling the ‘Raptors’ Air Jordan 7. Constructed with Black nubuck on the upper, while Purple and Red accents run throughout. The translucent tongue and midsole are taken from the Air Jordan 6, TPU paint strokes from the Air Jordan 8, and some of the overlays are a tribute to the Air Jordan 7. Other details include Nike Air branding on the heel, embroidered Jumpman on the ankle, and a translucent outsole.
Below, you can check out more photos of the Jordan MVP ‘Raptors’ that will give you a closer look. A release will take place later this year at select retailers and Nike.com. As soon as we have more information, we will make sure to update you.
