Jordan Brand and Luka Donฤiฤ just unveiled his latest signature shoe, the Luka 5. So far, we have two upcoming colorways, one of which is โViper Edge.โ Shortly after we received a first look, Luka was spotted wearing this pair on Christmas Day when the Lakers played against the Rockets.
The best way to showcase a new colorway is to have the signature athlete lace them up, especially during a nationally televised game. Although the Lakers lost, Luka had a strong performance wearing the Viper Edge. He would score 25 points, grab 5 rebounds, and 7 assists in 34 minutes of play.
Keeping the vibrant theme alive, this Jordan Luka 5 features an Illusion Green and Infrared 23 color scheme. The model is constructed from leather and mesh and is covered in Green. Having โGrinchโ vibes, the shoes also have Infrared detailing on the Jumpman, Lukaโs logo, insoles, and across most of the rubber outsole. As for the tech, it features a full-length Zoom Strobel for extra propulsion, a new ISOband for enhanced control, and a Cushlon 3.0 midsole.

I love the look of the Luka 5, and the Viper Edge is my second favorite colorway. I know, only two pairs have leaked so far, but I have to give a slight edge to the Venom iteration. Now, if youโre looking for something more vibrant, eye-catching on court, and has Grinch vibes, the Viper Edge is the right choice. Furthermore, I am excited to see whatโs to come.
