Fresh off the unveiling of Luka Donฤiฤ’s latest sneaker, the Jordan Luka 5, we have release details for some upcoming colorways. After showcasing the โViper Edgeโ rendition, the โVenomโ Luka 5 is also dropping. Arriving at retailers in January 2026, the shoes will be available in adult and kidsโ sizes.
While we wait for the release, Jordan Brand launched a campaign known as โBad Luka! Nice Shoes.โ Featuring a commercial starring Luka, it has him writing apology letters to referees, players, and others while gifting them his latest shoe.
Keeping things clean, this Jordan Luka 5 is dressed in an Illusion Green and Black color scheme. Highlighted with Black on the upper, tongue, ankle, and laces. Additionally, Green lands on the panels, heel counter, and midsole. It also comes with Lukaโs logo on the tongue, while the Jumpman graces the lateral side and insoles. Constructed with mesh, leather, and nubuck, it also features a full-length Zoom Strobel for extra propulsion, a new ISOband for enhanced control, and a Cushlon 3.0 midsole. Lastly, a translucent outsole completes the look.

Bottom Line
So far, the โVenomโ colorway is my favorite of the Luka 5. I love the shade of Green, but the addition of Black on the upper is what does it for me. While I do hoop time to time, if I were to pick this pair up, I would be using it in the gym more than anything. In my opinion, this pair has enough flash to stand out, but it isnโt as vibrant as the Viper Edge. While this is my favorite, it really comes down to personal preference.
