The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 “1998” Pack is a new collaboration between the brand and the Chicago native that will be released for the Holiday 2023 season.

Chicago’s own Joe Freshgoods will connect with New Balance once again, this time around, they will create a unique iteration of the New Balance 990v4 Made in USA. The shoes are expected to arrive during the Holiday 2023 season.
Previewing the 990v4 himself, inspiration for the shoes from the XXL photoshoot featured DMX, Jay-Z, and Ja Rule, the original Murder Inc. members. Like the photoshoot, the shoes will feature shades of Black, White, and Grey.
Unlike past collaborations from Joe Freshgoods, this New Balance 990v4 features a monochromatic look, dressed in Black and White. Constructed with the usual suede, mesh, and leather for a premium build. JFG branding adorns the lateral heel instead of the signature 990 logo. Other details include the signature ENCAP midsole dressed in Black with the same shade across the rubber outsole.
