Hellstar, the Los Angeles-based streetwear collective founded by Sean “Seanie” Holland, has built a reputation for giving classic silhouettes a gritty, expressive aesthetic. After making noise with its first adidas Superstar collab, the joint creative output now expands into a version very much in line with Hellstar’s visual identity. Known as the “Sandstone” Hellstar x Superstar, the shoes will launch alongside the Hellstar x adidas Anthony Edwards 2 for NBA All-Star Weekend.

This Hellstar x adidas Superstar comes dressed in a Warm Sandstone, Core Black, and Crystal Sand color combination. The base features a bold, desert-inspired sandstone camouflage, which covers the upper and gives the pair a textured, lived-in look.

Distressed Black Three Stripes are applied over custom panels, giving the classic shell-toe design an almost deconstructed feel. Hellstar’s signature flame-inspired accents and exposed foam edges around the tongue and eyelets give the shoes a raw, unfinished look. Small pops of Green Trefoil tags and co-branding on the back tabs reinforce the collaboration.
