The Original Tennis has been one of FILA’s most identifiable sneaker styles since its introduction in the mid-1980’s. The brand continues its efforts to incorporate modern updates to its classic silhouettes. Just in time for summer 2017, FILA is launching the “Knit” pack, featuring the Original Tennis 2.0 SW in a trio of colorways. While elements of the iconic Original Tennis shoe are recognizable, this version’s knit construction offers a sleek new finish.
Last year, the brand offered the Fila Original Tennis with a new sock-liner for a more comfortable fit. With the new “Knit” pack, the brand brings additional advancements. The Original Tennis 2.0 SW pairs include a one piece upper and extended sock-liner. The cream knit shoe sports a FILA navy sock-liner and outsole. The white style carries an all-over white knit with FILA branding and a navy outsole. The final shoe in the trio features a white outsole, to offset its black colorway. All three pairs have pull tabs on both the tongue and back counter. Additional logo hits appear on all three shoes on the counter, quarter, tongue, and midsole.
