Extra Butter x Puma Clyde ‘NYC’ Celebrates 50th Anniversary of the Model

Extra Butter will once again connect with Puma, but this time around the collaboration will help celebrate a special milestone. Using the Clyde, 2023 marks the 50th Anniversary of the silhouette.

The shoes was originally released in the 1970s and worn by none other than Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier. Once used for the hardwood, now when the shoes drop they are used for lifestyle purposes.

This Puma Clyde by Extra Butter comes dressed in a Puma White, Warm White, and Feather Grey color combination. Constructed with leather across the upper and suede overlays. Next, ‘City Worn’ adorns the Puma Formstrip overlay across the sides, while perforations and Clyde in cursive lands on the sides. Highlighting the shoes, we have ‘NYC’ embossed on the tongues, branding on the midsole, and co-branding on the leather insoles.
