By now, all of you sneakerheads have seen both the Air Jordan X & XII “OVO Stingray” Sample Packs that Drake showcased via his instagram last night. With today being a brand new day, it looks like we have yet another huge bit of new to share in regards to both Drizzy and Jordan Brand. While we all assumed that both parties have a strong relationship, we weren’t exactly sure as to what magnitude it was. In clearing up all of our suspicions, Jordan Brand took to twitter to announce that Drake is indeed the newest member of the Jordan Brand family. In the wake of Kanye leaving Nike for adidas, this has now become an interesting situation to keep an eye on. Will Drake be putting his design chops to the test and releasing his own shoe? Or will he only be applying the “OVO” motif to select Jordan models? Truth be told, we are obviously entering into a new day and age where big companies are again tapping into their rap resources and joining forces with some of the worlds biggest names.
