Nike Basketball’s lineup continues to evolve, and now it’s adding one of the biggest names in the game. After signing a historic deal and quickly becoming one of the most influential players in the sport, Caitlin Clark is finally getting her own signature model. The debut of the Nike Caitlin 1 has been building for a while, and now it’s starting to come into focus.
Although the specifics on technology have yet to be announced, Clark said the following on New Heights Podcast with the Kelce Brothers: “The technology we’re putting into my shoe isn’t anything Nike has ever put into a basketball shoe before.” From my sources, I was able to find out the shoes will have encapsulated Zoom Air, but more details to come.
Beyond performance, the branding will play a big role. Clark’s signature “CC” logo, an interlocking design that represents her precision and confidence, will be featured across the shoe and apparel. The logo has already debuted on apparel.
