Sneaker retailer out of Germany, Asphalt Gold is teaming up with Asics to pay tribute to their city, Darmstadt.
Known as the center of Art Nouveau, this pair is being called ‘Jugendstil’ which is inspired by the artist colony of Mathildenhöhe and is based on the architectural masterpiece.
This Asics Gel-DS Trainer features a butter soft suede upper with perforations. The Asics Tiger logo and heel tab feature Hot Pink while asphalt gold branding can be found on the taping on the tongue, on the flag label behind, as well as on the insole again. The neoprene tongue features the Art Nouveau pattern they designed, which shines through the overlays. Exclusively at asphaltgold it will be the shoe in a specially designed metal box that fits perfectly. In addition to the branded flat laces, there are two more round laces in the colors Rose Taupe and Evening Sand.

The Asphaltgold x Asics Gel-DS Trainer ‘Jugendstil’ will release exclusively at Asphalt Gold on March 17th, 2018.
