We saw a preview of the Air Jordan I (1) “A Tribe Called Quest” High Strap – Black / Varsity Red – Classic Green a couple days ago and we now have a new, more detailed picture and new information to share. This Air Jordan I (1) High Strap comes equipped with a black leather and fabric upper which is accented by red and green embroidery inspired by A Tribe Called Quest’s cover art from the Midnight Marauders album. Jordan Brand has gone the extra mile while designing this sneaker by including a patent leather Nike swoosh, green stitching on the midsole, and a red outsole which all come together to create a stylish sneaker that represents ATCQ well.
The official release date is set for February 2009, but the sneakers are now available at UptempoAir. The matching apparel can seen after the ‘jump.’
