Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny” Returns December 2025

Jordan Brand will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Air Jordan line’s beginning in 2025. First hitting the scene in 1985, it has already been 40 years of drops. As we continue to go over the upcoming pairs, the “Bugs Bunny” Air Jordan 8 will return during the Fall/Winter of 2025. This marks the second original Jordan 8 to return, with the “Bugs Bunny” pair dropping with the “Aqua” iteration.

This classic pair was first released in 1993 and worn by Michael Jordan on-court. The “Bugs Bunny” nickname comes from the Looney Tunes star wearing the kicks in commercials. Marvin the Martian was also spotted wearing the shoes. We would see the first retro occur in 2003, which gave fans of the pair another chance to own since the ‘90s. The last time we saw a release was in 2013, ten years after its last drop.

As for the colorway, this Air Jordan 8 features a White, Black, and True Red color scheme. Mimicking the 1993 pair, the 2025 will come with an updated shape, similar to what we saw on the “Playoff” rendition. Looking closer, it features White leather with suede around the heels and ankle. The cross straps dawn the infamous number 23, and the unique pattern overlays the sides. Another unique aspect of the pair is the chenille tongue logo. Other details include White and Grey on the midsole and a mostly White outsole.
