Jordan Brand will finally bring back the Air Jordan 7 just before its 35th Anniversary. In 2026, we have two colorways planned so far, and one will be a new color scheme. Launching in September, the โTennis Dayโ Air Jordan 7 is dropping at retailers. Due to the release timing, the pair will be available towards the end of the US Open.
Although the image used is a mock-up and the actual release may differ, we do have specific details regarding the release. For example, the official colorway is Phantom, Lemon Twist, Pink Blast, and Anthracite. Previously, the details were Phantom/Multi-Color/Multi-Color. This was Jordan Brandโs way of disguising the colorway.
Known as โTennis Day,โ the shoes will be a nod to the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2, a 90s classic worn by Andre Agassi. The colors on this Air Jordan 7 will reflect the bright shades of tennis sneakers, specifically the ATC, and a nod to the 1990s. From Jordan Brand, itโs labeled โTennis Day Colors.โ Additionally, the shoes will feature splatter detailing, as seen on the Air Tech Challenge 2.
As for the materials, we can expect mesh across the base and nubuck overlays. Furthermore, the shoes will come with flat laces.

Bottom Line
No matter what the final product is, I am happy to see Jordan Brand bringing back the Air Jordan 7. A lot of people have been asking for the return. However, most want to see original colorways, which we will eventually get. On a side note, the Air Tech Challenge 2 is my favorite Nike Sportswear model, so this crossover is something I am excited to see.
