This marks the fourth time that the pair will be released, with the first time being in 1991. Furthermore, the pair will have Nike Air branding.

So far, 2026 is stacking up to be a big year for the silhouette. Most have been excited for the release of the “Reverse Infrared,” which was originally a sample and will debut for the first time at retailers. We also have the “Bin 23” and “Cap and Gown” iterations arriving at retailers. As for collaborations, so far, PSG will debut its own Air Jordan 6.

White Infrared Jordan 6 Through the Years

The “White Infrared” Air Jordan 6 has been released a total of three times throughout the years, with the fourth arriving in 2026. The initial release occured in 1991, which is an original colorway. We would see a second release take place in 2010. This marked the first time that the shoes have been re-released. However, it was part of the “Infrared” Pack. You would get two sneakers, the “Infrared” and “White Infrared,” and it came with special packaging.

We would see the final launch take place in 2014. Although the color blocking was on point, many complained about the shape. Furthermore, it wasn’t like the original release, and lacked Nike Air branding.

2026 Details

What we can confirm about this Air Jordan 6 is that Jordan Brand will make them “true to OG form.” This means that the shape will be updated to reflect the original mold. As well, they will come with Nike Air branding.

As for the look, the pair is covered in White leather across the upper with the signature perforations on the panels. Additionally, Infrared accents appear on part of the midsole, lace lock, heel spoiler, and the Jumpman on the tongue. The shoes will also feature Black on the tongue, and liner, while an icy translucent outsole completes the look.

I am so happy that the “White Infrared” Air Jordan 6 is returning. Although I liked the 2014 pair, it didn’t have a great shape, nor did it have Nike Air. Since the 2026 pair will have a closer to OG mold and Nike Air on the heels, this is a must pickup.
