In 2017, Jordan Brand helped celebrate the release of Transformers: The Last Night by gifting Mark Wahlberg an exclusive Air Jordan 5 ’Transformers’ PE.
We now have a first look at an alternate pair of this Air Jordan 5 for the Transformers movie, thanks to English Sole. Resembling the classic ‘Black Metallic’ Air Jordan 5, this rendition lacks the patent leather that was used on the final product. Next, we have the year ’84 embroidered on the sides, which pays tribute to the year the first episode of Transformers premiered. Optimus Prime’s colors appear on the shark teeth overlay across the midsole, and we have glow-in-the-dark outsoles with a ’Transformers’ logo under the forefoot. Finishing the look is a graphic on the insoles.
