As Jordan Brand continues to show love to colorways that initially launched in 2006, another Air Jordan 5 is returning to retailers. The “Black University Blue” Air Jordan 5 is set to debut in Fall 2026. This pair was part of Jordan Brand’s Lifestyle Series (LS), which meant that the shoes were somewhat limited, and that matching apparel was released. It’s been 20 years since the shoes were released.
Like the original pair, this Air Jordan 5 will feature the same color blocking, consisting of Black, University Blue, and White. The 2026 iteration features Black nubuck on the upper with contrast stitching throughout, and translucent mesh on the panels and toe. Highlights include University Blue Jumpman branding on the heels, while the shade appears on the inside of the tongue and across the translucent rubber outsole. Other details include 3M reflective on the tongues and Black on the Jumpman and midsole.
