Air Jordan 3 “Do The Right Thing” Returns Spring 2027

The Air Jordan 3 “Do The Right Thing” will return during Spring 2027. One of the most talked-about Air Jordan 3 colorways as of late, this pair is returning for the first time since its original release in 2007, and the timing makes sense. For 2027, the pair will celebrate its 20th Anniversary.

As we continue to leak upcoming Air Jordan releases for Spring 2027, Jordan Brand will bring back the Air Jordan 3 “Do The Right Thing.” The “Do The Right Thing” Air Jordan 3, known simply as the “DTRT,” marked the first time a sneaker colorway was created for one of the most important sneaker-related films ever.

The “Do The Right Thing” Air Jordan 3 was originally released in 2007. A new colorway, the pair is inspired by Spike Lee’s film, “Do The Right Thing,” specifically the cover art. Upon its initial debut, the shoes were part of the Lifestyle series (LS), meaning they were on the limited side. Furthermore, matching apparel was available.  

Although the specific colorway has not yet been unveiled, it will resemble the 2007 release. This Air Jordan 3 features Blue nubuck across the upper, with the same shade on the elephant print around the toe and heel, and White. Gold detailing lands on part of the midsole, eyelets, Jumpman on the heel, and inside of the tongue. Green forms the Jumpman on the tongue, while White runs across the lower midsole, collar, and most of the tongue. Lastly, Blue and White cover the rubber outsole. Currently, it isn’t known whether the shoes will feature Jumpman branding like the original release or Nike Air branding.

The Air Jordan 3 “Do The Right Thing” will be released in Spring 2027 at select Jordan Brand retailers, including Nike.com, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Shiekh, DSG, and Hibbett. This means a release will occur between January and March 2027. The retail price is currently unknown. Once we have more details, we will update you. Bottom Line

When I got the inside scoop that the “Do The Right Thing” Jordan 3 would return in 2027, I was excited. I have always been a fan of the colorway. I was able to land a pair in 2007, although the shoes were limited. However, I can no longer wear them. I feel this is one of the non-original colorways of the model that people will like and be excited about.
