Jordan Brand continues to revisit deeper cuts from its archive, and the return of the โChartreuseโ Air Jordan 14 is a perfect example. While not an original colorway from 1998, the pair has built a strong following over the years. Part of that comes from how different it looked compared to traditional Air Jordan 14 releases. The idea with this pair was lifestyle, and the brand crafted them perfectly, in my opinion.
Looking at this Air Jordan 14, the 2027 pair is expected to stay true to the original 2005 release, except for the shape, which will be updated. Light Graphite suede runs across most of the upper, giving the shoe a clean base. The highlight is the bright Chartreuse Green accents on the heel, branding, and parts of the outsole. Helping the blocking, Black with a glossy overlay covers the midsole, with the same shade on the heel, top of the tongue, and most of the rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 14 itself debuted in 1998 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. The silhouette was inspired by Michael Jordanโs love for Ferrari, which is why you see details like the shield logo on the side and the sleek, aerodynamic shape. It was also the shoe Michael Jordan wore during his final championship run with the Chicago Bulls, adding even more history to the model.

Bottom Line
As most know, I am a huge Air Jordan 14 fan, so when I heard these were returning, I was excited. Itโs been a while since a pair of sneakers has got me hyped, but this did it for me. Sadly, I donโt own the 2005 pair, but I will eventually reach back for those. For now, this pair is high on my list for pickups in 2027.
