As part of Jordan Brand’s 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 11, the brand will put a spotlight on Atlanta. Introducing the “285” Air Jordan 11, which will be part of a three-pair pack dropping alongside the “Las Vegas” and “Houston” pairs. This iteration joins past Atlanta-inspired kicks, as well as A Ma Maniére, helping put the city on the map for sneaker culture.
Highlighted in a Sail, Off-White, Newsprint, and Sport Royal color scheme. The “285” nickname is a nod to the interstate that circles Atlanta. This Air Jordan 11 features a premium leather upper covered in Sail, while the debossed route around the mudguard is a tribute to the interstate. For a distinctive look, the liner features a Multi-Color theme, resembling tie-dye, reflecting Atlanta’s street art culture. Other details include a debossed Jumpman on the ankle, Silver “23” on the heels, and a milky translucent rubber outsole.

Bottom Line
Although I do like what Jordan Brand is doing with the “Regional” Air Jordan 11 releases, the pack won’t be released regionally. Places outside of Atlanta will have this pair, which was initially said to be an exclusive to the Atlanta area. But, this is good news because it gives people a better chance. From the pack, this is my least favorite, but I am sure residents of ATL will appreciate them.
