The “Shattered Backboard” theme pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s dunk during a 1985 exhibition game in Italy. His uniform was in Orange and Black with White details. During the game, he would shatter the backboard, leaving glass everywhere.
This Air Jordan 1 will feature a Black, Starfish, and Sail color scheme. Although not confirmed, the leather quality is expected to be the same but has yet to be confirmed. Utilizing Sail across the base with Black leather on the overlays, ankle, Swoosh, and Wings logo. Starfish, a shade of Orange, covers the toe box, ankle overlays around the heel, Nike Air branding, and the rubber outsole. Lastly, the insoles are expected to feature shattered glass.
