In October alone we got word of American artist R. Crumb applying his genius to the Vans Authentic, Sk8 High and Slip-On. Now, both sides are back at it with the result being the “Modern America” Vans Chukka shown here. The left heel reads “MODERN AMERICA,” while the right heel has an illustration of someone who doesn’t seem to be dealing well with American modernity. This particular Vans Chukka model comes with both black and white shoe laces, and releases soon from select Vans retailers.

In August, we brought you an early look at a Chukka Mok Collection to be released sometime in the fall. Well, we now bring you word that the Vans Vault crew has begun to release these shoes, and we bring you a look at the complete collection. You already saw the two high-top pairs coming in brown and black. We also have pictures of their complementary low-top Chukka models. Every shoe comes with suede uppers, white soles, and a stitching pattern that meets between the sole and upper and runs around the entire shoe. As we mentioned before, this Mok collection is here just in time to help with the season’s frigid weather. Check-in with your local Vans retailers to get your hands on these.

Vans is famous for a number of sneaker silhouettes it is constantly releasing in a plethora of colorways. In fact, three models made up it’s recent Wool Collection featured on sneakers with black/grey/white colorups. Vans is bringing the wool idea right back as the cold begins to break through. Pictured here are two pairs of Vans Chukka’s done up with wool uppers and fur linings to help keep you both warm and comfortable during what can be unbearably cold days. With one pair sporting dark brown, and another sporting red, both pairs actually sit on your less-conventional completely black soles. What could possibly be better than the suede Chukkas we saw earlier today? Suede Chukkas with fleece thats what. The Vans Chukka comes in a fleece pack consisting of two suede colorways: dark brown and tan. Both Chukkas use suede uppers and matching contrast midsoles. The fleece is white and used in the inner lining of the shoe to get us ready for the upcoming cold fall and winter months. These are great for keeping your feet warm while making them look stylish as well. The fleece Chukkas will release soon at select Vans retailers for the Fall 2009 holiday season.

It’s that time of the year again! No, not Fall, but the time when Vans starts releasing its Holiday 2009 collection. First up, we have the Vans Chukka Suede in two clean colorways: navy and grey. Both shoes use full suede uppers in their respective colors, along with vulcanized midsoles. The navy pair uses a white midsole to contrast the dark upper, whereas the other pair rocks a darker grey midsole, given its lightly toned upper. These two Chukkas are available now, so go ahead and get ‘em now!

Earlier this summer we got a sneak peak at a collection of Chukka Lows rumored to release in the fall of this year. We now have word of three different Chukka Lows that are not only being prepped for release, but are already becoming available online. In black/turquoise, black/red, and black/grey colorways, all three contain a suede upper and sit atop a completely white sole. With its peacoat fabric upper and vulcanized bottom, the Vans “Peacoat” Chukka is a perfect wintertime addition to any sneakerhead’s quiver. The shoe is available now in hearty navy blue with a black sole and heather grey/black.
