This year, Harris Tweed has been celebrating its 100th year of providing high quality material for projects of all different sorts. This past summer we saw Harris Tweed team up with the Bape team and created a Bapecheck Ape Sta hi that would actually fit in well with the impending Christmas spirit that will soon be felt worldwide. Today, we learn of another collaboration. Here, we see that Harris Tweed got together with Ubiq; and, the result was two pairs of the Ubiq eL in two quilted tweed colorways- brown and black. You can look for these at your local Ubiq carriers today.

Japanese footwear company Ubiq has fitted their popular high top model, Fatima, with a series of polka dot themed colorways. Featuring uppers in brown, black, and grey, all three models are tied together with white on the polka dots, laces, and midsole. You can expect the polka dot pack to hit select Ubiq retailers sometime soon.

Thanks to recent collaborations with Puma and Atmos, to name a few, the Ubiq brand is steadily trying to make a name for itself and find a niche in the sneaker world. For the holiday season, Ubiq is giving it a go on its own with a collection of four Fatima mids pictured here. While every shoe comes with a straightforward and classic gum sole, each uppers is made entirely of a slightly different gingham pattern that brings flash to this shoe, which is inspired by boots. This set of sneakers will be releasing from Atmos come December 11.

Now, we’re here to show you the second part of that collection, which is an exclusive Friends and Family release- meaning most of these will be given to select Friends and Family of the collaborators on this sneaker. This black and white Puma Clyde pays homage to all of the officiating crews that worked in Veterans Stadium and helped make the NFL games that occurred there possible. In September we brought you a look at the result of a collaboration between Philadelphia based Ubiq and the Atmos team. This time, Ubiq lends its talents to a project with Puma; with the result being a collection of two Puma Suede Mids and two Puma Clydes referred to also as the “700 Level” collection. In fact, what the set of shoes celebrates is reportedly the history of Veterans Stadium, which used to be found in Philadelphia until 2004 and played host to a slew of historic events (both sports-related and not).
