Coming off the heels of an Uniform Experiment Chukka collaboration, the Nike Sportswear SFB boot gets fitted with an optional zipper element in this new Fall/Winter khaki colorway. Featuring a white sole, the high-top boots will now come with an extra zipper lace up system that can be added and removed as the wearer sees fit. Following the Nike Sportswear stores being erected in Tokyo and New York, the franchise store has now expanded to France as well- specifically the Marais neighborhood in Paris. The lifestyle store was erected in what used to be a bookstore, with the location’s interior being spruced up with graphics painted by French artists Antoine and Manuel who designed everything from carpets to murals to the wallpaper. The Paris-located Nike Sportswear store is ready to release tier zero apparel and other limited releases. To top it all off, this location also consists of an in-store NikeID studio for consumers to customize their newly purchased sneakers before even leaving the place. This sure has been a huge year for Nike, as it seems poised to continue making an immense international impact.

Nike Sportswear’s October line-up is quite an impressive one, the collection spanning a variety of popular silhouettes. The folks over at Nike Sportswear have put an interesting spin on the Nike Terminator Hi with a brand new colorway of Julep/Black/White/Purple Pop. The sneakers predominately light blue (Julep) upper features panels with different sized purple dots — a detail that creates somewhat of a three-dimensional effect when viewed from a distance. Set to release in February of 2010, the colorway is sure to a bit hit amongst men and women alike.

1979 has returned thirty years later, in the form of the Nike Sportswear Challenger. The Nike Sportswear Challenge ND VNTG comes in two vintage colorways: varsity royal/black-sail and metallic silver/new magenta. Both shoes use a mix of suede, mesh, leather, and nylon, to truly give the shoe its ‘79 flavor, especially with the pre-yellowed midsoles and vintage style black outsoles. Classic white nylon tongues make the shoe even more authentic, and the thrashed Nike sign on the back heel panel just kills it. These are available for pre-order now for $80 each.

The folks over at 21 Mercer have stocked a few more models that have been given the vintage treatment, with the arrival of two ’straight out of your favorite 80’s movie’ Blazer High colorways. Featuring an off-white softened leather upper and pre-yellowed midsole, the vintage effect feels more authentic than in some previous efforts because of the classic OG-esque color schemes. To get ready for the spring season, Nike Sportswear is giving many of its classic silhouettes some stylish makeovers. The Air Pegasus model is no exception, with the upcoming release of the Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 in a black/medium grey-electric green colorway. The upper consists of black suede, leather, and mesh, all of which are contrasted nicely by electric green on the inner lining, and medium grey on the leather swoosh. The black midsole and outsole shows a hint of white to mix it up a bit. This shoe will release January 2010, just in time for the oncoming spring season.
