Last week rapper Bun B gave us an exclusive interview in which he revealed his Top Sneakers of 2008. A few days later and we present yet another look at a list of great releases from 2008 as given by sneaker aficionado and DJ, Clark Kent. For those unfamiliar with DJ Clark Kent, he is a hip hop DJ, record producer and music executive. This New York native has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Notorious B.I.G, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Slick Rick, Rakim and many others. In addition to these achievements, Clark Kent has worked with Nike designing several sneakers in the past and continues to do so with the 2009 NBA All Star Game Nike Air Force 1. Clark Kent’s 12 Pairs for 12 months recalls his top 10 sneakers of last year with two bonus models. Nike’s 1World project has brought the likes of Busy P, Michael Lau, Booba and many others to the drawing board of the Air Force 1. Artist KRINK is the latest to link up with Nike and provides a very unique spin on the Air Force 1. His sneaker features his signature drip pattern topped on reflective material and a gum sole. In addition, KRINK has also included a hand made KRINK silver marker and will come in a special edition box. Release is scheduled for November 29th at Nike Sportswear locations.

Joining a group that already includes Rasheed Wallace, ?uestlove, Kaws and Ladainian Tomlinson; grafitti artist Krink and Nike team up to present his own version of the Air Force 1 as apart of the 1World influencer project. Krink presents two versions, silver and black which consist of 3M, mimicking his style graffiti style. Furthermore, Krink’s logo prominently showcased on the tongue and lace locks are just one of the many elements of this Air Force 1 that makes it his, finally the sneakers are finished off by a gum sole. However, the silver edition will be available later this month retailing approximately $200, but the black version will only be given to a select few close to the artist. Via Complex.
