Eric Koston’s 1st signature skate shoe from Nike SB has recently hit Nike SB retailers nationwide, including online retailer, CCS.

Not only is this Koston’s 1st signature with Nike, it is also Nike SB’s most innovative skate sneaker to date. Using a TPU reinforced suede one piece upper, stitch-less lining making for a perfectly comfortable ride inside and out & the very first Lunarlon cushion system on a skate shoe which just so happens to be the midsole/sockliner.

Pretty nice way to debut into the SB family if you ask me. The Nike SB Koston is now available in three colorways at CCS in full size runs. There is also a free shipping option for all orders over $69 at the moment.

We just had our first glimpse at the Kobe Bryant x Eric Koston collaboration a few days ago and now you will have to scramble your way to the Staples Center by tomorrow, May 21st, if you’d like to own a pair.

To add insult to injury, there are only going to be 24 pairs available (Good thing Kobe doesn’t wear #3 on his jersey) so for those of you who must have a pair… we wish you good luck! Not all is lost with this release as proceeds will go back into the L.A. community towards bettering its playgrounds, a very nice touch yet makes me wonder, why not release more of them to ensure a larger donation towards the cause?

Let’s just hope that by tomorrow afternoon 24 pairs of Kobe x Koston’s aren’t listed up on eBay…

Eric Koston, a multi-gold medal winning skateboarder, has just signed onto the Nike SB Team. Back in April ’09, Koston decided to leave Lakai Footwear, but made no direct comment regarding what brand he will sign with in the future. Later that month, Koston was spotted wearing the “Big Gulp” Nike SB Dunk High, and we now have received the word from both Nike SB and Eric Koston that the one of the world’s best skaters has joined the Nike SB Team.
