Amongst other releases slated for Black Friday, here we bring to you a friendly reminder for the DQM for Vans ‘First Issue’ collection set to drop tomorrow.

As reported earlier this month, the Vans x DQM “The General Store” will release its first official footwear collection which will feature three Vans models: the Era in an oxblood colorway, the Chukka Decon in military green, and the Mid Skool ’77 in a vegan tan hue. All will include premium leathers, round leather laces, custom camouflage printed washed ripstops, leather flag labels, and gold foil signature branding on the insole.

The entire collection is limited to 96 pairs, will come individually numbered, and release exclusively at The Vans DQM General Store at 93 Grand St. New York, NY 10013, and online at DQM at 10am EST.

Vans presents footwear suitable for the oncoming harsh weather conditions. Hang up those beach-goers and switch to the new Vans Switchback CA Water Resistant, a pair of solid water-resistant Switchback models from the Vans California Collection.

Available in black and tan color option, plow through the snow and rain this winter in shoes that will protect your feet with its rubber based shell, premium leather, and reverse waffle sole for added stability. Keep it simple with tonal stitching, matching laces, and metal eyelets for a hard finish.

Pick up your pair of Vans Switchback CA Water Resistant’s now at a retail price of $90 at select Vans retailers including NYC’s DQM.

While we’ve seen a select series of Vans Vault packs, more are on the way for the holidays and on through to next year, like the Vans Vault ’77 Frost Grey Pack.

This pack features 2 models, the Vans Authentic and Vans Mid Skool. Both shoes sport Frost Grey and feature 3M uppers with white midsoles and accenting.

These are available at select Vans Vault accounts like DQM General or DQM Online.

A little over a month ago we reported that Vans was teaming up with sneaker store Dave’s Quality Meat to open the “The General,” a sneaker shop located in the Soho area of New York City. The store is located on 93 Grand Street; and, it “will not only carry on the mindset, respect and authenticity of DQM, but teams it up with the knowledge and values of Vans, to cater to the growing skateboarding and lifestyle community in New York City and beyond.” A collection of footwear and apparel will be prepared and made available for men, women and children, with some offerings that will be made available only through this sneaker location. We all know about the DQM x Nike Dunk High collection from back in 2008. Well, if you haven’t, you should by now thanks to Complex Magazine’s Top 100 sneakers from the 2000′s. But what you didn’t know was that there is another colorway for the shoe that was made available for friends and family only. That’s right, the DQM x Nike Dunk High Hyperstrike is in existence, in 24 pairs of black on black sneakers. The shoe features a black perforated nubuck upper and black midsole and outsole. Too bad these will never see the light from the DQM store, so if you ever come across this kind of quality meat, be sure to save it for a special occasion.

Dave’s Quality Meats produces only the finest in premium goods, and have just released its latest collaboration with Nike: the DQM x Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache. This hybrid is part of Nike’s rivalry theme, as New York based DQM represents the East, which is tatted on the tongue tag and spotted insole. The Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache uses a Nike FREE outsole, Air Max unit, Huarache heel panel with flywire, and a neoprene tongue. The upper consists of brown suede and a pink swoosh to blend in with the inner lining. The colorway takes influence from the iconic bacon colorway that DQM is known for.
