A couple of days ago we showed you the Air Jordan VII retro ‘Olympic/For The Love Of The Game’ and now we have detail pics of the Air Jordan IX retro ‘For The Love Of The Game’. The Air Jordan IX features a reverse color-blocking of the Air Jordan ‘Powder’ IXs that dropped in May, and includes the basketball/heart logo on the heel. These are set for a limited release with only 2,000 pairs up for grabs, so getting a pair will be easier said than done but some online vendors have begun to take pre-orders. Monday night Terrell Owens showed up wearing a pair of Nike Airmax 2010 to the annual Entertainer’s Basketball Classic at Rucker Park in New York City. T.O. also had a pair of Nike Zoom Kobe V id’s in his hands that either he or someone else created in black, varsity purple and maize. Owens was joined by fellow NFL Wide Receiver Chad Ochocinco as well as rappers Jadakiss and Raekwon and VH1 personality Snowden. Heres a look at the up coming Nike Air 1/2 Cent ‘Eggplant’, these days it seems like the Eggplant colorway is making itself on to other non-foamposite shoes. The Nike Big and the Nike Hyperdunk are just a few shoes that released in the Eggplant colorway, but many can agree that the Eggplant colorway works fine with the 1/2 Cent because it keeps it within the Foamposite Family. Heres the new Ken Griffey and Nike Commercial “Goodbye Baseball, Hello Cooperstown”. Incase you didnt know, 13-time All-Star and 10-time Gold Glove winner, Ken Griffey Jr. announced his retirement June 2nd, finishing his career with the team he started: the Mariners. Griffey played for an amazing 22 years in the MLB and hit a total of 630 homers, good for fifth on the all-time list of career leaders. Seems like the people at Nike and EA sports decided to team up for Nikes new model the the Nike Trainer 1.2 to mark the impending release of their new NCAA Football 11 video game. Dressed in the Florida Gators colorway, this shoe is a tribute to star quaterback Tim Tebow, who is the on the cover of NCAA Football 11 and will play this up coming NFL football season under the Denver Broncos.
