We already know that 2009 is the year of the retro, so it’s no surprise that Nike pulled out a retro colorway for the Nike Air Max ST. The Nike Air Max ST Retro comes in a classic white/black-red colorway, taking from its forefather, but adding in Nike’s latest technology. The shoe has a perforated white patent leather upper against a black nubuck mudguard to differ from the originals. The white midsole nicely separates the black mudguard and black outsole. The swoosh uses red synthetic material to really give the classic silhouette a modern touch. The Air Max ST logo is printed on the tongue in bold black to give this classic colorway a nice comeback this holiday season.

The Nike Air Structure Triax 91 is definitely doing it big for 2010. The latest to leak is the Nike Air Structure Triax 91 Women’s, which comes in a sail/sail-green blade-trb green colorway. This women’s shoe features a sail white leather upper accented by green and blue accents on the swoosh stitching, tongue, heel panel, and sole. The black midsole nicely offsets the light upper, making the colorful tones on the sole stand out. The Nike Structure logo is stitched on the mesh tongue, making this a fine shoe to wear come March 2010.

Nike is a host to many vintage classics that many weren’t alive to consume. Luckily, Nike loves to retro its past silhouettes, giving our generation a reason to spend our hard-earned cash. The Nike Killshot Vintage comes in two colorways: white/navy and white/red. The lightweight shoe uses a white mesh upper and grey suede panels that are contrasted by their respective opposing colors. Nike Basketball is still going strong, releasing new models as well as new colorways for classic models. The latest of the retro regime is the Nike Air Bakin Retro, which comes in a metallic silver/black-purple colorway. The upper consists of metallic silver leather with purple accents on the laces, heel tab, and mini-swooshes. Black contrasts the vibrant silver on the sole, mesh tongue, and netting beneath the metallic silver upper. This might be a bit bright for the court, but these are sure to be great pickups for any basketball shoe collector. More info on the release later on.

We last saw a preview of the Nike Air Safari in the latest black/grey-orange colorway a month ago as part of the Holiday 2009 releases for Nike. Now, we have a closer look at the Nike Air Safari LE in the aforementioned colorway. The Nike Air Safari comes in a holiday-theme-fitting colorway, using a black leather upper with grey elephant print panels and orange contrast stitching throughout the upper. The dark upper is complemented by a black and grey midsole, while offset by a bright orange outsole to spice things up. These Safaris are available now for about $135 online.

It’s been a while since the last Nike Cortez Flymotion was heard about. Well the wait is over, as the Nike Cortez Flymotion gets a classic colorway for the Holiday 2009 season. The Cortez Flymotion comes in a white/red/green colorway, possibly taking inspiration from the Mexican flag colorway that has been used on the Nike Cortez before. The upper uses white flywire technology with a white printed swoosh. Red is placed on the tongue tag and midsole, which sits atop a green Free sole. This Cortez Flymotion is ready for just about anything, from running to just going to the store.

The Nike Air Pegasus ‘89 is definitely marking its presence for Spring 2010, as the colorways keep on coming. This time, the Nike Air Pegasus ‘89 comes in a sweet white/crimson-vivid pink colorway. The shoe uses a full leather and mesh upper in white, with grey suede paneling, along with a crimson leather swoosh. The vivid pink makes its mark on the netted inner lining and tongue. The midsole comes in a combination of white at the toe and grey at the heel, both nicely offsetting the crimson outsole underneath. This pair of runners is set to release along with the other colorways January 2010.
