In celebration of two overseas House of Hoops locations- London & Paris- Nike is set to release two Nike Hyperize’s that each draw inspiration from the aforementioned cities’ local basketball team. The “London Capital” Nike Hyperize sports a predominantly sky blue upper with navy blue and white accents, while the “Paris Levallois” pair sports a predominantly “blue sapphire” upper with red and white accents. It is rather fitting that in an effort to celebrate the opening of these two new House of Hoops locations that a third, and arguably bigger city, be the venue in which the material manifestations of this celebration go on sale. It seems as if the Nike Terminator Basics always seem to be the simplest yet best looking. Take this Nike Terminator High Basic Women’s for example. The white/emerald green-range colorway is well put together, using a white leather base with patent leather along with metallic emerald green on the swoosh and back heel and ankle panels. Orange also gives the shoe some flavor as it is placed on the laces and contrast stitching. Nike Sportswear is definitely molding ideas left and right to make the perfect shoe. The Nike Sportswear Terminator Hi ENG is a result, as it takes influence from crocodile skin shoes such as the Nike Air Force 1 HTM, as well as a pair of hiking boots. This Terminator features a black crocodile skin upper, which sits atop a white midsole and black outsole, making this strictly a two-toned shoe. The shoe has been giving hiking boot lace eyelets to complement the white laces and a Zoom Air sole to prepare us for the coming winter months. “NIKE” is blended in with the leather at the heel panel to finish off this clean pair of kicks. These will release September 19 in Japan.
