St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and we’ve already seen a GS Nike Air Force 1 and teaser pic of a Supra Vaider high that both commemorate the Irish holiday. Now we have the opportunity to show you the St. Patrick’s Day edition of perhaps the two hottest adidas basketball silhouettes to date- the TS Supernatural Commander & Creator. Both pairs sport a white base, but the green and gold accents run rampant on both shoes as well. The adidas TS Supernatural Commander sports gold lining on the straps and a splash towards the heel area, while green four leaf clovers can be seen throughout. The adidas TS Creator, on the other hand, comes with a green sole, heel and ankle lining, while gold four leaf clovers are seen throughout. Recently we covered the result of a collaboration between Jeremy Scott and the adidas Originals line- the JS Mickey high. Now, the adidas Originals line has recently prepared the Campus Street mid pictured here in a rather unique color palette that includes blue, sky blue, purple, lime green, and red. This pair of shoes is finished off with white soles as well as black ankle lining, eyelets, and toe caps. Having been made available at certain overseas adidas retailers, check-in with your local adidas retailer to see when/if it’ll be receiving this adidas Originals release.

We saw the adidas brand shift some of its attention to its trainer fanbase in January when we caught wind of an adidas Originals ZX8000 release in grey/purple. Now there adidas Marathon 10 (pictured here) has also hit select adidas retailer shelves in three colorways. The adidas Marathon 10 builds off of the adidas Marathon 80 of 1980, and is a lightweight, very breathable sneaker specifically engineered to help train for marathons. The upper includes mesh material, while the “adiPRENE” midsole aids in the distribution of shock impact and in the constant foot propulsion needed to run a successful marathon. You can find the red/light grey-signal blue, the signal blue/core yellow-black, and the black/white-aluminum colorways of the adidas Marathon 10 available for purchase online and in-stores for the suggested retail price of $80.

It seems as though the adidas brand has recently been involved in even more basketball sneaker releases than usual- in part because of the added sneaker competition from brands like Li-Ning. However, the brand has chosen to also revert some attention back to the adidas Campus 80s now. The pair pictured here comes in a predominantly white leather upper with a tan/brown snakeskin print along the three stripes and heel tab. Yesterday we showed you yet another collaboration between Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals that resulted in yet another high-top silhouette- the JS Mickey. Not even twenty four hours removed from showing you the aforementioned sneaker model, we have now come upon the JS Logo Attitude high pictured here in a metallic silver/yellow colorway on eBay. Last year we saw Jeremy Scott get his hands dirty and help out with a bunch of adidas Originals releases including the JS Africa and JS Wings. Now we’d like to show you the JS Mickey also releasing as part of the adidas Originals line. This high-top sneaker includes a large Mickey Mouse head stitched along the tongue and giving it an even higher look. The rest of the shoe plays off of the popular character’s color scheme of yellow and red. Furthermore, you can see that the upper eyelets of this pair of shoes reads Jeremy Scott’s name if you look closely enough. This sneaker has begun to hit overseas retailers now.

While some notable players have successfully transitioned from the NBDL to the NBA, the everyday basketball fan probably knows little about the NBDL and its players. Well, for those of you who don’t know, the NBA has afforded the adidas brand even more visibility than usual on the hardwood floor per the athletic partnership between both parties. While the adidas company provides sneakers for NBDL players, those who choose to wear any other brand’s footwear has been instructed to cover up appearances of the logo with the use of athletic tape. Now it becomes clear which players simply have a preference other than adidas and that adidas is willing to act with as much right as it has to overcome the competition. What are your thoughts?
